With Hyundai´s commitment of producing vehicles in order to satisfy the new market´s tendencies, now it launched the Ioniq, a compact car, that has three model propulsion characteristics: hybrid (gasoline and battery), plug in hybrid, and the completely electric version. It´s price goes from $22.200 to $32.500.

The new Ioniq has an aerodynamic design with an excellent friction coefficient of only 0.24.
As well electric market keeps being small in sales (a 3% of total market), it is true also, that buyers look for the best benefit-cost about performance. The high efficiency electric engine can work at 75 MPH speeds and offers a pure electric mobility, with a lithium battery of 28 kWh for 124 miles estimated autonomy.
Hyundai´s engineers made that the Ioniq´s 1.6 liters model, and 6 speed automatic transmission, which develops 104 horsepower, has a 58 MPG efficiency, on average, the best performance in the market, overcoming it´s direct competition, the Toyota Prius, which has a 56 MPG efficiency.
The statistics point that a 98% of drivers drive less than 100 miles daily, and it´s precisely that great market where Ioniq´s electric version is pointed, which has a 124 miles efficiency, what would be good for two days driving.

The Ioniq counts with a great color screen on its interior.
The problem is that there aren´t enough fast electric chargers, at least in south Florida, that´s why Ioniq´s electric model will be sold only in California at the moment. A pending matter for the Sun State.
The three Ioniq models that are launched, use modern light weight techniques, like aluminum bells and hatches, also different steel grades of high resistance with advanced structural adhesives to reduce unnecessary weight and increase stiffness to improve driving experience.
“With a flexibility, design, connectivity and advanced technologies, Ioniq satisfies a great and growing group of buyers who need a high efficiency vehicle, nice to drive and with a low emission level, without compromising their daily lifestyles”, said Mike O´Brien, corporate and product approach vice-president of Hyundai Motor America.
The aerodynamic design gave place to an excellent coefficient of friction of only 0.24. Hyundai is compatible as with Apple CarPlay as with Android Auto, therefore, smartphones are perfectly integrated.
The price of the Ioniq hibrid starts from $22.200 (Blue) to $27.500 (Limited). Somewhat the electric vehicle prices start from $29.500 to $32.500 (Limited).
