Magenta Status includes new offers and unmatched experiences through the country’s preferred brands and on services used every day such as hotels, car rentals, concert tickets, movie tickets and more.
Miami, FL, 26 de febrero de 2024. Every day telecommunications companies want to differentiate themselves from each other and they do so by lowering rates and incorporating more services for their customers. It happens that the cell phone is used less and less to make calls. This is also understood by the company T-Mobile, which has long called itself the Un-carrier.
The flood of new services launched by T-Mobile has the primary intention of pampering current customers and attracting new ones and making them feel VIP treatment.
The last big launch was via streaming by the president of the company Mike Katz who announced the Magenta Status to consider customers as if they were family.
Hispanic Time spoke about this topic with Jorge Martel, Consumer VP, T-Mobile, in an interview via Zoom.
“At T-Mobile, our customers are at the center of everything we do; We will never treat them as if they were a number. When you are part of the Magenta family, with the new services we want our clients to feel VIP. Magenta Status includes new offers and unmatched experiences through the country’s preferred brands and on services used every day such as hotels, car rentals, concert tickets, movie tickets and more, in addition to the discounts and gifts available every week through T-Mobile Tuesdays, and in addition to the industry-leading benefits that customers already have access to such as free streaming services, free Wi-Fi on flights and more,” highlighted Jorge Martel.
One of the company’s offers is that customers now have access to a special discounted rate at the Hilton hotel chain. Customers can receive a 15% discount on Hilton’s 22 major hotel brands around the world, from Hampton to Curio Collection by Hilton, Waldorf Astoria and more.
“On top of that, when they sign up, T-Mobile customers automatically receive an upgrade to Hilton Honors Silver, through March 31, 2025, at more than 7,500 locations. Silver benefits include, among others, free Wi-Fi, a free fifth night on reward stays, discounts on all-inclusive spas and more,” highlighted Jorge Martel.
Another benefit provided by the new plan is to recharge or fill the tank of the rented car on behalf of T-Mobile when leaving the car at the airport. “T-Mobile customers don’t have to worry about filling up their gas tank at Dollar or recharging their electric vehicle at Hertz before returning it; just arrive at the airport and leave the keys. This is a deal so good you won’t be able to find it anywhere else. And it is available in practically all airports throughout the country,” highlighted Jorge Martel of T-Mobile.
Other benefits are the discount on movie tickets, where the company’s clients pay only $5 per ticket for each person every month. “That means only $20 for a family of four, which represents a savings of more than 50% for customers on the average ticket price,” Martel added.
In order to expand its customer base and reach Hispanics at all levels, T-Mobile accepts to obtain service from a consular card, driver’s license, consular registration, student visa, identification card issued by any state from the US to an eligible employment authorization document.
In the entertainment sector, the company also offers the option to get tickets with a 25% discount to some of the most popular shows at Live Nation amphitheaters and select clubs and venues, throughout the year.
Another new service is the introduction of T Life, a brand new app so T-Mobile customers can easily keep track of their discounts, VIP benefits, T-Mobile Tuesdays and more.
Magenta Status encompasses all the benefits that are part of the VIP deal, plus all the other perks that many T-Mobile customers can get, such as access to streaming benefits with services like Apple TV+, Hulu, Netflix at the company’s expense and free MLB.TV, free WiFi on flights to stay connected at 30,000 feet.
