Party City, una cadena con sede en Nueva Jersey que vende disfraces, globos y decoraciones, se ha declarado en bancarrota según el Capítulo 11. La empresa, fundada en 1986, planea vender su inventario y cerrar las 750 tiendas que tiene en todo el país.
Los informes indican que el 28 de febrero será el último día en que sus tiendas permanecerán abiertas. “Se anima a los clientes a comprar ahora todo lo que necesiten, desde suministros para fiestas de cumpleaños hasta decoraciones para las fiestas y la Nochevieja, mientras la selección sea mejor”, dijo Party City en un comunicado.
