To officially kick-off its Miami Museum Month promotion, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) recently hosted an exclusive cocktail reception at the Coral Gables Museum.
Guests meandered through the museum and enjoyed viewing impressive exhibitions. At the event, GMCVB President and CEO William D. Talbert III, CDME also unveiled the highly-anticipated 2nd edition of the Miami Heritage Guide, titled Miami – A Sense of Place.
Throughout the evening, young pianist Jason Matthews delighted guests with his talent as attendees mingled with representatives from several of the Miami Museum Month participants and nibbled on delicious hors d’oeuvres and sipped on cocktails provided by the Coral Gables Museum.
VIP’s in attendance included noted South Florida historian and Chair of the Coral Gables Museum Board of Trustees Arva Moore Parks, renowned Author Georgia Tasker and Miami-Dade College History Professor Paul George, among others.
