At the helm of Top Gun M.O.T. Design Services, Mosqueda drives a growth strategy rooted in innovation, technology, and comprehensive solutions for the infrastructure sector.
At a time when infrastructure, construction, and transportation projects are becoming increasingly complex, efficient traffic management has evolved from a mere operational component into a strategic element essential to the success of any project. Worker safety, driver mobility, regulatory compliance, and logistical coordination demand increasingly sophisticated solutions capable of minimizing risks and optimizing resources.
Guided by this vision, Erwin Mosqueda has spearheaded the growth of Top Gun M.O.T. Design Services. Specializing in Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) design, the company has established itself as a trusted partner for contractors, engineers, municipalities, and transportation agencies. Its approach combines technical expertise, innovation, and a deep commitment to safety—factors that have enabled the company to steadily expand its reach and strengthen its reputation within the industry.
However, Mosqueda’s vision extends far beyond traditional MOT plan design. The company is currently developing a growth strategy aimed at providing comprehensive traffic management solutions. This involves incorporating new technological tools, advanced data collection systems, digital analytics, drone-assisted assessments, and specialized services designed to enhance the planning and execution of large scale infrastructure projects.
As Florida continues to experience significant population and economic growth, the demand for modern infrastructure and more efficient transportation systems will keep rising. Against this backdrop, Top Gun M.O.T. Design Services aims to solidify its position as a regional leader by expanding operations, diversifying services, and adopting new capabilities to meet the evolving needs of its clients. In this interview with Negocios Magazine, Erwin Mosqueda shares his vision for the future of the industry.
Negocios Magazine: What new services or business areas does Top Gun hope to develop to meet the needs of sectors such as infrastructure and transportation?
Erwin Mosqueda: Top Gun plans to expand beyond traditional Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) design by offering comprehensive traffic management solutions. These may include smart work zone planning, temporary signage design, construction logistics planning, road safety audits, permit acquisition assistance, and technology-based traffic analysis. As infrastructure projects become more complex, we expect to integrate advanced data collection systems, drone-assisted site assessments, and digital traffic models to improve safety, efficiency, and project execution.
NM: How do you envision Top Gun M.O.T. Design Services positioning itself as an industry leader in the coming years?
EM: Our goal is to become the preferred partner for MOT design and traffic management throughout Florida and beyond. We plan to achieve this by maintaining the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, innovation, and customer service. Through investments in technology, the expansion of our team of experienced professionals, and the strengthening of relationships with contractors, engineers, municipalities, and transportation agencies, Top Gun will continue to be recognized for delivering reliable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.

In addition to MOT design, we are exploring services such as traffic control, work zone inspection, transportation planning support, permit coordination, road safety assessments, and project management assistance. We are also evaluating opportunities to support large-scale infrastructure projects with comprehensive (“turnkey”) traffic management solutions, offering clients a single provider for planning, design, and implementation.
