Revolutionizing Convenience for Passengers
This partnership brings together Brightline’s intercity rail network—which connects major cities such as Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach and Orlando—with Inter&Co’s comprehensive suite of financial solutions. The partnership will allow guests to integrate investing into their daily routine, offering a seamless blend of travel and financial services.
“We’re excited to partner with Brightline to bring even greater convenience to local passengers traveling throughout, as well as for our many clients visiting from Latin America and around the world,” said João Vitor Menin, Global CEO of Inter&Co. “Providing exclusive benefits and making financial services more accessible is a key part of what we do at Inter&Co. This will enhance the benefits for our customers, their experience if they are visiting Florida from Latin America or are locals.”

Floridians: A Diverse and Optimistic Retail Investor Base
At the heart of this partnership is a deeper understanding of how Floridians are managing and growing their financial futures. Inter&Co recently surveyed[1] its Florida-based super app clients to gather insights into their investment habits, goals, and challenges. More than 50% of surveyed Floridians are actively investing each month, with the majority (56%) choosing to invest in stocks. Their commitment is tangible, with monthly investments ranging from $100 to $500.
Despite ongoing concerns about market volatility, an impressive 78% of respondents expressed optimism about increasing their investments in 2024.
The survey also revealed several key priorities and concerns among Floridian super app retail investors:
• Planning for Emergencies: A strong focus on financial preparedness emerged, with 40% of respondents identifying emergency fund savings as a primary investment goal for 2024.
• Trust and Security: For 35% of respondents, FDIC insurance plays a crucial role in building trust with financial institutions, while 25% cited concerns about institutional trust as a key barrier to investing.
These insights underline the financial dynamism of Florida’s population and the critical role that accessibility and trust play in shaping their super app investment choices.
Celebrating the Partnership
To celebrate this partnership, Inter&Co and Brightline hosted a launch event at Brightline’s Miami Central Station. The exclusive event featured a presentation of the state of the retail investing industry for retail clients, both domestically in the US and internationally in Latin America.
